Default A really odd Hurricane season

The remnants of Gordon have some overlap with the projected impact area of Florence. Those remnants might bring enough energy from the Gulf to reenergize this hurricane. While persistence as a hurricane will almost certainly not happen persistence as an organized tropical storm is possible.

There are two potential back up hurricanes in the Atlantic and another one forming in the Gulf. More massive flooding all the way to Canada, while unlikely, is a definite possibility too. This kind of relatively long list of possible outcome is less common than the storm season we have had so far. Ontario getting any rain from a now declining hurricane is really odd in and of itself so I'm wondering what will happen next.
