You were there? You saw the elderly Palestinian woman, tears running down her checks, praising Allah for the death of Americans? Her tears were the result of being offered cake? My, my.....how gullible and malleable are Arabs.

Now, now Trish.
If the Arabs were so gullible and malleable they might believe anything - such as that Israel or George Bush was behind 9/11; or that Jews use the blood of Arab children to bake their matzos; or that Allah loves Arabs who blow themselves up; or that murdering each other en mass is called an "Arab Spring;" or a whole host of insane and stupid things that only extremely gullible and malleable people might believe...
And really - could anyone be that viciously stupid, gullible, and malleable?

9/11 was widely condemned in the arab world yet a few people who were bribed to play up for the camera are used to drown out the multitudes who were just as shocked as you on that day.

On the other hand, 5 Israelis dancing, and celebrating as they videotaped the event are ignored.

I hear that Churchill celebrated when he heard that the Japanese had attacked Pearl Harbor.

Does that mean he was in on it too?

And yet there is no proof that Arafat was killed by polonium, is there?

I mean, traces on his effects? Could have been added afterwards. And as stated, the half life of polonium would mean that it would have had to have been added well after his death, no?

Let's wait for the autopsy and more conclusive data before jumping to hasty conclusions. Even so, anyone looking at the guy could see he wasn't exactly the picture of health to begin with.

http://www.cnn.com/2012/11/27/world/...html?hpt=hp_t3

It is lovely to see propagandistic brilliance combined with scientific idiocy.

Po-210 has a half-life of 138.3 days. In simple terms, each year the amount is reduced to 1/8 the previous year. After 2 years, 1/64th and so on, so that after 8 years, there would be 1/2,000,000 of the original amount.

Toxic levels of Po are measured in ng. The stuff is so dangerous, that it requires special handling in the first place. The ability to measure the femtograms of Po that would be left after 8 years is nonexistent.

Nontheless, I fully expect them to report finding sizable quantities of it in the small samples that they took from Arafat's body.

Also wanted to add that attempting Polonium poisoning over time, such as placing it in his toothpaste and his head coverings is 50% as effective as giving one big dose (say, via injection.)

And since Po is carried in a nitric acid solution, the toothpaste would have been discolored by brown (nitric acid discolors materials that it contacts) and there would have been brown spots on the head covering.

But again, this will not be reported, and I expect that we will hear that the analysis has turned up 'traces' of Polonium in his body, no matter how impossible this is to actually occur.

The media reports have yet to mention how little Polonium could be left after 8 years...

Better check Hugo for polonium, too, while they're at it.

Hugo Chavez Heading to Cuba for More Treatment

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez announced plans to travel to Cuba as early as Tuesday for more medical treatment after spending much of the past 18 months fighting cancer.

In a written request to the legislature, which was read on television by National Assembly President Diosdado Cabello, Chavez said that doctors have recommended he "begin special treatment consisting of various sessions of hyperbaric oxygenation" and physical therapy to continue "consolidating the process of strengthening health."

The request did not provide more details about the treatment.
