In the beginning there were many, in the end there shall be only one; in between there exists an infinite war across the vastness of time and space for the survival of conscious singularity.

I know you're being serious but this reminded me of The Highlander.

Vibrational healing, also called Vibrational Medicine or Energy healing, is based on the scientific principles that all matter vibrates to a precise frequency and that by using resonant vibration, balance of matter can be restored.

Scientists have proven that everything in the universe, at a sub-atomic level, is made up of energy. Health is the harmonious flow of life energy, while imbalances in this flow (due to unhealthy habits or negative emotions) lead to illness. Throughout history, the idea of a universal energy pervading all nature has been held by mystics, religious practices and more recently Western scientists. Refer to the Indian spiritual tradition of prana, the Chinese calling the vital energy, Ch'i and the Christian religious paintings indicating a field of light surrounding Jesus and other religious figures. Recently many scientists with the aid of technological research from holographic patterning, to Kirlian photography, to different types of scanning, have observed the human energy field and been able to indicate it in a concrete physical way for us to observe.

When reference is made to vibration it is but a synonym for frequency, different frequencies of energy reflect varying rates of vibration. We know that matter and energy are two different manifestations of the same primary energetic substance of which everything in the universe is composed of, including our physical and subtle bodies. The vibratory rate of this universal energy determines the density of its expression or form as matter. Matter which vibrates at a very slow frequency is referred to as physical matter. That which vibrates at speeds which exceed light velocity is known as subtle matter.
This tends to validate the concept that all matter is energy and forms the foundation for understanding how human beings can be considered dynamic energetic systems. Humans can thus be viewed as networks of complex energy fields that interface with both the physical and cellular systems. The physical system resonates at a particular vibration and forms an integral part, but at a lower frequency with the higher energy levels around it.

If we accept the view point of humans as multidimensional beings of energy it follows that human beings can be affected by energy. We need to understand very clearly that energy, the ch'i being referred to here is a vibration, and everything on our planet consists of vibrational energy.

The human energy field, the aura, is the manifestation of universal energy in the human body. Scientists have verified that the human organism is not just a physical structure made of molecules, but also has a subtle energy system through which 'life force energy' flows. Our physical bodies are surrounded by an energy field, an aura, that extends as far out as your outstretched arms and the full length of your body. Energy is the basic component of the human body, we are beings of light. We are so limited by our five senses that we acknowledge only that which vibrates at frequencies between 375 and 775 nanometers, we incorrectly regard anything that doesn't vibrate within this range as unreal!
In understanding the energetic nature of the human system it is possible to grasp the concept of vital life energy and the multidimensional nature of the human system. This multidimensional nature can be verbalized as the subtle body system, the aura, accessing the vital energy. Within the aura, the chakra system (energy centers) transforms the energy and the meridian system, the conveyors and conduits of vital energy, transports this energy throughout the body.

So as to therapeutically impact the energy system, energy which vibrates at frequencies beyond the physical plane, need to be administered. Vibrational or energy healing include: Homeopathy, Aromatherapy, Acupuncture, Reiki, Flower and other types of nature-based essences, Crystal healing and mineral therapies, Music and Sound Therapies, Hands-on healing, Quantum touch, prayer and meditation, some forms of massage, etc.
Modern medicine mainly regards the human body as a physical and chemical system that gets ill when any chemical imbalance in the body occurs. This imbalance is treated with external chemical substances such as medicine. Unfortunately chemical therapy has ignored the spiritual and mental aspects of human beings. Alternative and energy healing, on the other hand, focuses on all levels of our being and their impact on man's health.

Vibrational or Energy Therapy, such as Reiki or Quantum touch, invites stuck energy to move or vibrate again. It restores energy balance and vitality by stimulating the body to heal and starting a process of purification, it cures both the exterior bodily symptoms and the deeper root causes, and helps return the body to its natural perfect state. Health is the harmonious flow of life energy; a balanced energy system is the best defense against disease.

Just go with whatever moves you. Sometimes it is OK to "color outside the lines".

Dear Fearlessly Expressive,

Marmoset has just replied to a thread you have subscribed to entitled - In the Beggining... - in the Religion, Morality and Philosophy forum of Democracy Forums.

Here is the message that has just been posted:

..meh? Profound, or something that popped out of a "Deep Truth" sentence-generator from somewhere on the web?

Completely from my own head. I've had some interesting experiences that have shaped my understanding. All is not as it seems...

All ideas are relative to eachother, and there's a fine line between fact and fiction.. a thin, blurry line.

Depends on what is being discussed.

Everything is energy, governed by Math.

Sometimes it's ok to draw your own picture too.

Pork is delicious. I've heard it said that pigs (and not chimps) are actually the closest genetic relative to humans...

I guess it just depends on your interpretation of the data.

I'm still not sure I understand or accept time as an objective reality independent of our own thinking. It seems more likely to me is that the only 'time' that exists physically and completely is NOW.
