Okay, but Lester Maddox was not someone, at least anyone in their right mind, would claim to liken themselves to. Thy were my mil & my fil who possessed the Southern hospitality that most Southerners are proud of. Lester Maddox, and even George Wallace were people that proper Southerners wanted nothing to do with.

Good luck with walking up to anyone in N.C. and trying to convince them that they (or their sentiment) is not one that is Southern. ;~)

Thanks. It seems to have discombobulated the pro-Socialist crowd so much they don't even want to talk about the facts anymore. They've gone back to their usual irrelevant off-topic issues and, of course, personal insults. Sad in a way, but I think it goes to show who has the better point about the main issue.
