Last season, my grandson had a really great year at UHV. With still a year left of eligibility, ( he had been redshirted his soph year at Angelina because of an injury ) but having become engaged to a softball player, he passed when offered a really great job with the guy he was working summers and vacations for. Engagement is off and he has been asked to come back for his senior year, by taking 12 hours online, and showing up on his days to pitch. Don't know his decision yet, but his boss took him bow hunting this past weekend and I'm sure they discussed it quite a bit.
Problem, of course, will be keeping his arm strength up, unless he can find someone to pitch bullpen to every couple of days or so.
UHV went to the NAIA World Series last year in only their second year of playing baseball, and he is being sorely tempted to go back, I believe.
Time will tell.
