The discussion is about the origin and destiny of our cosmos. In particular, I'm interested in what Islam says about the creation and prophesy with respect to the future of mankind and life on earth.

It's a topic generally that compels me and excites my senses and imagination.
If you don't want to post in the thread it's fine. It's my philosophy blog and I can talk to myself if no one is willing to engage me in it. I know it's a deep topic people tend to try to avoid. It's all good Jafar.

But... I'd still love to hear about it. From what I've read already the Holy Book of Islam made some startlingly accurate predictions regarding the structure and formation of the cosmos, and makes equally startling predictions for the future of life on earth.

I just don't see where it fits in with the philosophy discussion

You could just quote this post and try to answer the questions and go from there.

I read that thread. Now I'm scared I don't see where I could insert anything in the thread.

On the subject of creation and ultimate destiny of the cosmos there Jafar... would love to see what you or any of our Muslim brothers may have to say from the Muslim perspective on the subject at this thread.

What does the Koran say about the creation story?
How does the Koran predict the cosmos will end?

Just the questions I have, but I'm still trying not to derail this thread...

Though we are weak, we are many.
Though I am one, I am strong.
Remember we must the road we are walking
Elst all be lost for we have strayed

Is there a way to post that in arabic? I'd like to see it.
