My Aunt sent this today. I couldn't have said it better myself.

Dear friends and family,

For those of you who are among the 34% of Obama supporters who are
wavering, let me share with you why I have been supporting Barack
Obama's campaign and why I voted for him.

* He is capturing the hearts and minds of young people, and people
who have never voted before, who can help him and us lead our country
forward with dignity and integrity.

* He talks about what WE can do, not what HE can do; he's even
willing to talk with our "enemies." Imagine!

* He is very bright, articulate and inspiring. He will surround
himself with people who have fresh ideas and he will actually listen
to people who disagree with him. Imagine!

* He has Michelle. I heard her speak yesterday and when Barack calls
her his rock, I understand why.

* He has the support of our dear governor's wife :)

I am VERY tired of people saying, I'm not sure our country is ready
for a black man (or, for that matter, a white woman) as president.

I believe our country is not only ready for Barack but that we are
blessed to have him as a candidate.

I believe that Barack Obama will beat ANY of the Republican candidates.

I believe that Barack Obama will be the next president of the United States.

I hope you agree because, to be successful, he needs YOUR support and
YOUR vote.

Thanks for reading this; I've never done this before, but I care too
much about this country and this election to shut my mouth!

Nancy

Well, if Hillary doesn't get the nomination, and McCain does, it is pretty close to guaranteed that Obama will be president.

Don't count your chickens before they hatch. McCain has some popularity of his own and Obama weaknesses that may be exploited.

McCain has more than enough weaknesses for the Democrats to explout. If you look at the way things are being presented in the media, and the lack of any real attacks on McCain, it seems fairly obvious that the Dems are just waiting for him to be nominated before they open up on him.

I really doubt that Obama has enough of a history in the public eye to lose such a campaign.

I'm not even certain that, with all of her flaws, Hillary has enough weaknesses to lose to McCain.

That's awesome, a testimonial for Obama without a single policy outlined. I mean I guess "talk to our enemies" is a policy of diplomacy first.. so in a vague way that could be considered a policy. Just more evidence this is a beauty pageant.

McCain's greatest strength is his ability to steal Democrat votes. I've know many Republicans here in Texas who have decided to sit out the election if McCain wins the nomination. They consider him too Democrat-like.

McCain appears hand-picked to appeal to conservative Democrats.

But if McCain wins will he simply abandon his base? I just can't imagine that McCain will simply abandon the GOP and run to pick up the Conservatives Democrats.

Nah, McCain will be in trouble because he is in the GOP, plain and simple.
