A rude graphic, I admit. BUT, this is what middle america will see. Ted Kennedy is more reviled by the older 'boomers' than almost any other politician. The opposition will absolutely link Obama with Ted at every opportunity, Everyone with a shred of memory and understanding of past elections is fully aware that youth do not show up in Novenmber, OLD people do.

Can the Obama campaign deflect these images? Looking at who is running the campaign it's a safe bet that Vegas would give you odds that they cannot.

You are correct in general. However, the youth can vote with enough encouragement. Some warrant that is how we were lucky enough to get J.F.K. Unfortunately though, I fear that today's younger liberals of voting age are likely too apathetic to show up in force.

Of course, I'm not equating Obama to J.F.K., I'm just commenting on your logic.

Unfortunately you may be right.
