There are many political parties in pakistan
the major ones are

Pakistan Muslim League (Q)
Pakistan Muslim League (N)
Pakistan Peoples Party
Awami National Party
Pakistan Tehreeq e Insaaf

The PML Q is currently the governing party.

There appears to be a strong religious influence in Pakistani government and I don't think this is a good thing. I think religion should be a private matter and that government should be secular. It is my understanding that secular government is essential to democracy, which is ideally rule by reason. Religion is not based on reason, but on faith, so it should not dominant politics.
