Iran Launches First E-radio

TEHRAN (FNA)- In the age of e-communications, Iran launches its first twenty-four hour Internet radio for direct interaction with a millennium audience.

The Internet radio, dubbed Iran Seda, webcasts six 24-hour channels in various areas of expertise, press tv said.

"Iran Seda has the benefit of the Internet's interactive capacity and the means to step into the world of modern media," said Hamid Reza Sahragard, manager of the internet radio, at the opening ceremony of the network.

'Iran Seda', the Iranian e-radio, is to broadcast its productions through nine desks, including politics, technology, sports, culture and society.

Internet radio already dubbed e-Radio is an audio broadcasting service transmitted via the Internet.

The public may listen to the programs of Iran's first e-radio network at: www.iranseda.ir.
