Cloverfield (some spoilers)

First of all, why is it called Cloverfield? Anyway, my parents went to see the movie tonight and my mom came back hyped up as hell, but because of fear. Apparently the fact that it was a movie made through someone else's camera scared the crap outta her, to the point where she had her coat on her head the whole movie and she was the only one screaming. She won't even look at the cat because it looks like one of "those things," whatever that means.

That means I better go see it then:thumbsup:

It's getting great revues, but like Blair Witch, I think I'll wait for it to come out on video. I plan on seeing There Will be Blood tomorrow. I love going by myself, to the first showing of the day, when everyone else is at work. Last week when I went to see Charlie WIlson's War, I thought it was crowded with 10 people.

My dad seemed to find my mother's freaking out hilarious, and to be honest I did too.

I heard about it, and I really want to see. From what I've heard it's a rather Lovecraftian monster. It sounds really good.

good movie, but the shakiness of the camera made me sick. It seems people on the imdb boards felt the same
