Kidding, I love his music but they all were so effed up on psychedelics that sometimes their utter confusion was mistaken for genius.
Some of their space-jams were quite intriguing, and bordered on transcendental.
I saw an interview with one of Parliament's members and he described a show in which they got so lost that after hours of one jam...he looked up and everyone in the auditorium had gone home to bed!
He had no idea how long they had been playing or when the people left.

Clinton was busted a couple of years ago for smoking crack in a parking lot. I saw his mug at smoking-gun and he still had the colorfully dyed dreds. Old habits die hard, I guess.
