And here's why (spoilers ahead):
Just now they aired a new episode of the show where Riley (the younger brother with the braids) got called a "nigga" at school by his white 3rd grade teacher. As you can imagine he and granddad thought it was necessary to sue the whole school and bring up a whole bunch of drama over the N-word and such. Fortunately Huey (the one with the afro) was the sensible one who kept hitting the nail on the head about it, because I feel the same way.
Hell they even had Ann Coulter (not the real one) on the show and on CNN.
Ah, now that's good satirical TV.

I've been watching the show since its creation and it is absolutely hysterical.
Last night's was one of their best.

Riley using fake tears to get everyone to feel bad for him = too funny.

Expect it to be gone by the end of the week though.

As some of you know I am a cartoon freak.
Boondocks is one of my favs.
I'm surprised and encouraged that it has been on Adult Swim for so long. It's "so" intelligent and prescient that I feared it would be rejected by the demographic.
I underestimated the the producers to know it would catch on. It was low-rated early on, but viewership has steadily increased over the past year.
Congrats Adult Swim!
The Venture Brothers? LOL!!!!!![hr]One of my fav characters is the black-bashing honky-loving black man with the squiggly eye.

I don't watch much TV, so I didn't know about the show. I guess that's why the strip no longer appears in my newspaper. I miss it.

I hope my paper carries it, but I'll bet they dropped it.
It's a very smart show. I've only seen it a few times. Very edgy and funny.
I like the one where Riley is playing basketball and can dribble the ball great but can't shoot to save his life. Very nicely done.

I love it, but you have to leave your preconceived notions at the door and follow the point of the episode to it's "big picture" conclusion.
This is one of the shows that the Stalinist Al Sharpton wanted banned because of "the word".
Goes to show you he is just a knee jerk reactionary who is not smart enough to get the complexities of the show.
Sharpton ignores the complexity. But that's what fundamentalist demagogues do.
