(1) He is the businessman/economic candidate:
Running a country is similar (with some obvious difference to running a corporation). No candidate even comes close to understanding the business world or economy as Romney does. Ask yourself if you were the majority shareholder in a corp, which of these candidates would you vote for CEO?
(a) Bain Capital:
Romney's sttart up venture capital company. He started in from ground up and now its a $40 billion company.During the 14 years he headed the company, Bain Capital's average annual internal rate of return on realized investments was 113 percent That takes strong leadership, great understanding of the economy and business world, hard-work, great organization and extreme intelligence.
(b) Bain & Company
This was a company that Romney was CEO of before we started up Bain Capital. While he was CEO, Bain & Co saw double digit growth. When he left it slowly went down the tubes. He came back to help them out of the funk and within a year he got it turned around into the black!
In 1990, Romney was asked to return to Bain & Company, which was facing financial collapse. As CEO, Romney managed an effort to restructure the firm's employee stock-ownership plan, real-estate deals and bank loans, while increasing fiscal transparency. Within a year, he had led Bain & Company through a highly successful turnaround and returned the firm to profitability without layoffs or partner defections

(c) Staples,
He identified Staples before it opened as a corporation to invest in. He made a killing off another great investment.
(d) Other Companies he identified before they took off:
Brookstone, Domino's, Sealy Corporation and Sports Authority
(2) '02 Olympics:
He took it over after the prior corrupt and ineffective CEO's/organizer was forced to resign. Mitt came into a $397 million budget shortfall mess. The city just wanted Mitt to turn it into a small loss. Nevertheless, like everything Mitt turned it around to a major profit of $56 million. Note: he also donated his entire $850K olympic salary to charity.
(3) Reversed the $3 billion MA deficit without raising taxes!
Don't shrug this off. This is amazing accomplishment. This is exactly what the next President will have to do. It is amazing that a $3 billion deficit could even be erased this quickly and accomplished with out the easy solution of raising taxes!
(4) Established the first and only private universal healthcare program for MA!
As MA governor he created the only UHC program for a state, in which many other states are starting to model after. Healthcare will be a big issue and he has solved it for at least a state. He is didn't federalize healthcare (which could be a disaster), but created universal healthcare, where everyone else failed.
(5) Never pardoned or communted any criminals as governor!
He rightful choose to let the courts do this.
(6) Great character.
(a) The media can't find any dirt on him, unlike they find on Guiliani, Obama and Clinton. And you know they are digging.
(b) See his children: ---> none appear to be spoiled brats like the over-previlege hollywood children. To the contrary they all seem to be well-managed, highly ethical, harworking and respectable individual. Also the media can't find dirt on them either. Ask Al Gore about his great children. Raising numerous well-balance children speaks volumes about the parents.
(c) Here is a great story on him:
July 1996 that the 14-year-old daughter of one of his partners had been missing in New York for three days, Romney closed down Bain Capital and asked its 30 partners and employees to fly to New York to try to find her. The girl had gone to a rave party and taken ecstasy.
“I don’t care how long it takes, we’re going to find her,” Romney told the girl’s father Robert Gay.
As a result of a massive campaign orchestrated by Romney, he was able to locate and rescue the girl when she was within a day of dying from the effects of an overdose.
(7) A extreme hard-worker:
Look at how hard he is campaigning and his business achievements!
(8) Shown a strong ability to work with adverse parties, more specifically the Democrats and Ultra-Liberals:
As a Republican, working with Ted Kennedy and in a ultra-liberal Democratic State (MA) is a tough and fustrating task. Yet Mitt was able to effectively accomplish the task and solve many problems in MA.
(9) The One-strike Your Our's law against Child Molesters and Child Sex offenders, starting with the 1st offense:
Meaning he supports Jessica's Law, very Strict mandatory jail sentences and lifetime GPS devices placed on these animals and specifically on 1st time offenders
(10) Believes in Global Warming and will do things to combat it.
McCain stated it best, "If we take measures to combat global warming and it turns out to be false, then at least we have a cleaner environment, but if we choose to do nothing and global warming turns out to be true, then we doomed our children and our children's children."
Mitt isn't a blind denier and will combat it. Yet he knows how to protect the environment, yet stimulate the economy.
(11) Against the highly unconstitutional Fairness Doctrine
This is a facist doctrine that no American should support.
(12) Supports stem cell research.
He doesn't believe the Federal government should put money into it, but he doesn't think the government should prohibit it either.
(13) Won't raise taxes, unlike Comrades Clinton, Obama & Edwards
Track record is everything and Mitt has shown that he won't raise taxes, yet he has also shown that he will manage spending and the economy to reduce deficits.
(14) Will be strong on illegal immigration. including a fence along the border:
It is not racism to say that illegal immigration from south of the border is a problem (as it would if someone was against all immigration). But one doesn't have to look past the state of our hospitals and rising health costs to see it's detrimental effects.
(15) Not a blind Isolationist like cough cough the Libertarian hack cough cough
