Woke up to good news this morning. After Touch Down yesterday and Logging the well last night, radiation reports from shooting the well confirms we hit a gusher at 6000 ft in the Citronelle Formation 30 miles north of Mobile Al. Thats three oil wells in a row I've hit and no dry holes. This means excellent news to me and my investors and Marathon Oil who will process it. Pressure on the well is high and we are in the process of installing a blowout preventer. Also while drilling the well we recovered a salamander skull the size of a Labrador retrievers head at 5000 ft and parts of a cypress tree. Shows how much the earth has changed and evolved over millions of years as sedimentary layers have covered everything up that was once a ocean. Anyway its Mardi Gras time here in Louisiana and what better time to celebrate that with a new Oil well. I'm going to use the money to buy part of a Deer and Quail Hunting lease in South Texas with some investorsI know to hunt on so I can kill that trophy buck and stick him on the wall. I should have the well producing by next week if all goes to plan. These high prices per barrel will pay good royalties and my expenses. Anyway I thought I would share that with you. I urge you all to make sure you have your mineral rights if you own property and check at your natural resources department to see if your sitting on a Oil and Gas formation so you can get petroleum off of it. It Pays Well. If I could I would buy all of you a round of Martini's tonight because its time to celebrate this most profitable occasion and laisse le bon temps rouler.

If he does, give him the shot gun loaded with rock salt so he doesn't kill anybody.

Congrats K-D-K-D-K!
Thank you for keeping this roaring economy going and supplying us all with the necessary energy to keep us free and continue to feed the world.
You are a producer, not a dependant, that should be applauded.

Good to see US drillers bringing in oil wells. Congratulations!

I don't drink martinis though...

Beer's good enuff for me.

The trouble with this kind of post is... it seems too real to be coming from a satirist...

What are you really doing here, KDK?

Fair play, K-D-K-D-K. As someone with family & friends in the oil business, I appreciate what a relief it is to actually get a gusher.
