There is doubts and rumors that are rising about inexperinced Barak Hussein Obama and his Muslim ties and past that people should concerned about. The thought of the Nation with a President in a war with a past in Muslim ideology is alarming. One thing is that it would disrupt relations with Israel and Palestinians peace hopes and upset the Jewish lobby because of his past suspicious ties to the Muslim religion which he was raised on and went to school to learn it in the Muslim terrorist infested Jakarta. Muslims have been known to say that America will be destroyed from within which is something that might happen if he got into office. The Washington Post has a great article that brings these questions to light. Read it well and ponder the thought of having a Muslim sympathizer in Office. This by far and the non support of the Jewish Lobby and Israel will be his demise if he acquires the nomination and America will Elect a Republican Red blooded American in Office. The Washington Post raises a Point about even his middle name Hussein.

OMG, Barack Obama doesn't have red blood? Ohhhhh, look at the title of the article. Anybody's foes can find anything wrong and twist and spin it so that it looks suspect. This is nothing new. Look what Romney's foes did to him. This is an election year, and we are going to see many things twisted and warped out of proportion to pursue a particular end. Bush and Kerry were no saints either.

Talk about gross misleading! The article actually points out how the FOES of Obama are spreading RUMORS and how they are using his middle name in that attempt.
Get some facts straight before you start with this crap.
You should change your name to T-R-O-L-L instead. I don't see any merit in your posting here...not one iota.

Ah, you gotta love K-D. He's a perfect example of how to alienate people (even other Conservatives) by posting in a idiotic manner.

By the way, this strategy of smearing "osama hussein" with a "wahabi school" and a "radical muslim father" DOES work. My girlfriend got an email the other day from someone, a forward of a forward, that brought up just this issue and talked about the terrorists infiltrating our country at the highest levels. It even had the gall to say the person had checked the story on snopes.com and that it was factual. I quickly checked snopes and it said no such thing, in fact it refuted the "wahabi" and "radical" parts of the statement. I wrote her back saying I hoped she was mistaken and not intentionally misleading people. She wrote me back, extremely embarrassed, explaining that she had forwarded the message and had not checked snopes herself.
People are so ill informed and so lazy about their research, that is why this kind of thing is successful. The hateful types will never vote for a "progressive" anyway, but they are a minority compared to the lazy and ill informed.

I agree with you T&P, the "lazy research" comment is right on. You know why that's the big problem? Because in doing research one must take the chance in being proven wrong.
If I think drinking Tea kills people I can blather on and on about how "TEA-KILLS!" But if I do some research I would find out that I was wrong and have to change my opinion. Many Americans simply don't want to put the time and effort into chance that they may be wrong.
This board is a perfect example. I've seen NUMEROUS posts, like this one - for example, where a poster has been proven WRONG(with facts, linked information, etc.) and the post has simply died or the poster continues to post in an idiotic manner. Re-read this post. Lab shut down K-D. Plain and simple. Lab is not a Obama supporter and is a Conservative and he called out K-D with the facts. This wasn't some Liberal trying to fight a Conservative. It was simply someone who was tired of reading bullshit and proving it wrong...and it happens all the time here on the board! Stupid statements are proven wrong and the people that post them simply move on not wanting to acknowledge the truth or proof.
The only plus here, on the Obama front, is that if he does win the nomination he will have 8 or 9 months to showcase that he's a good Christian now. The name and religion thing will be dealt with plenty. Another thing I look at is the election map from 2004. The Democrats only need take back a few states to win. In fact if everything stayed the same and only one state, Ohio, changed hands the Democrats would win the election, 276 - 266 EVC. So people who believe this type of thing, and I'm sorry to say this crap plays well in the South, probably wouldn't vote for a Woman or African-American anyway.
K-D proves that point. He wouldn't vote for Hillary or Barack no matter what. He's just trying to preach his idiocy and hate.

You know what's funny? Every time I go to his Wiki page and read his book it says he's a Christian who attends a Christian church, and the only thing Muslim about him is his middle name.
Peculiar isn't it.

Nobody shut me down. Barak went to a muslim school in another land when he was young and then his father turned into an athiest. He cant be trusted and do you honestly think the American Public would vote for a guy with the name of Barak HUSSEIN Obama? That is no different than voting for someone named Ron Hitler Hemphill. He will not get the nomination and his name will hurt him in the end and his supposed ties to Farrakhan and others.

Obviously none of this mattered too much in Iowa or New Hampshire.
And at least be able to spell the name right.

Maybe YOU don't trust him. And YES the American Public would and have voted for him. He won in Iowa and came in close 2nd in N.H.. There is no reason to think he can't be the nominee. If the racists come out in full force it will imho only strengthen Obama as the stories are baseless and end up making him appear stronger. If you want to attack Obama you may need some actual truth to do it. Truth that is pertinent to the election not where he went to school for 4 years as a child.
I gotta say...you have officially become my least liked member here. You actually beat out some long-time debate rivals in a matter of days.

All sarcasm aside, K-D Lab is right. Racists and the like come out against Obama and it'll just feed into his power base. People will vote for him just not to be associated with Hate groups.

Everybody seems so worried about the loss of Jewish support for Obama because he said the truth about the Palestinians. That they are the most oppressed people on Earth. The Jews only make up a few percent of Americans, so why is the loss of Jewish support such a big issue?

It seems to me the only people who have doubts about Obama being qualified to become president because of his middle name are racists who are trying their best to find fault with a man just because he is black.

Um.......if his father turned into an athiest, then what's the problem? He's no longer a practicing Muslim and no loger believes. Here you're complaining about his father being a Muslim. In another thread you're complaining about the Christian church Obama attends........make up your mind man!
I also want to thank you for the Obama threads.....in fact checking your stuff, I've learned more about the man. I may now end up voting for him........but I see you have some Ron Paul threads, so I guess I'll have to go read them and see if your facts check out on him also, then I can also learn more about him too.
THANKS FOR YOUR HELP IN PROMOTING OBAMA.:

Meanwhile he didn't go to a Muslim school, ever. That lie was debunked right after it was told. The school in Indonesia that he went to was a school of all religions. Obama was never a Muslim. His mother was a white Irish American. His father left when he was young. He spent a few very young years in Indonesia and then grew up in Hawaii. He was a surfer.

I believe it's his stepfather that was a Muslim for a while. It's all B.S. that is easily exposed for anyone that's not a sheep.

The people in question here are 'Foes" of Obama. They are the ones starting the rumor mill. If we were to follow that same exact formula, it would mean that all the rumors that your "Foes" here on DF would be true. That's why they are called rumors. Please respond if you like.
It also seems that you are also a "foe" of Obama, since you are also initiating the rumor. Nothing wrong with that, just be straight about it. (no administrator, morality police, or moderator attitude inferred by me or my staff)

I just treat this as yet another example of election-year mudslinging. Foes of all candidates on both sides will be crawling out of the woodwork to tout their rumors and dirt on those they don't like. I haven't heard a fat lady sing, so it ain't over yet.
In fact, I'm willing to bet it's going to get a lot worse before it's over.
Lily, you have a good point. I decided on Obama a few weeks ago, and everything KDK has posted about Obama just confirms what I thought at first.

I know......when you have to go check out to see if what he's saying is true.....you learn so much! I'm learning a lot about Ron Paul from KDs posts too. Wish he'd post some dirt on who he's supporting, so I can check out that candidate too.

But here's what Fact Check, an unimpeachable source, had to say: Fact Check on Obama (http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/sliming_obama.html)

Sorry, you're totally and completely wrong about that stuff coming from the Clinton camp. It originated from various right wing people and organizations that'll stop at nothing to demonize Obama. Look again at the Fact Check link I posted above.
If you want to discredit the Clinton camp, you're gonna have to do a better job than that.
