It's so strange seeing all of the icons on the left when mine are all on the right.

This is a shot of the Russian Graveyard in Sitka, Alaska which is nothing more than a cemetery carved out of the woods on a hill just up from the harbor. A very cool place to wander through on a summer afternoon. (I minimized Pookie's screen shot down in the lower right hand corner.)

Ooooooo Pookie, it looks like you have a Vista infection there. Ouch. :(

Go to your desktop and press alt/print screen.
Then open adobe photoshop or some photo program
and paste it there and save it. Then upload it to
www.photobucket.com or some online photo page.
Then post the pic here.

These are cool! If you look closely at mine, you'll see "Internet Exploder" - with a bomb icon, and the Recycle Bin with a litterbox. Heh heh.
Yup, it's Vista all right, but at least it's not the Home Basic edition. I got the Home Premium and I love it!

Zo's a Pirate! Lmao

Well, almost everything I've downloaded either has no copyright protection, or I already have them. My three most recent downloads were "Jelly Roll Morton Library of Congress Recordings" (recordings from the 1930's), Clara Smith (1920's blues singer) and Siouxsie and the Banshees discography. The first two have no copyright protection as far as I know, and the last one I have all the releases in the download, it's just that I have them on vinyl. Much easier to download them than to manually record hours of music from records.

I agree, unfortunately the RIAA doesn't agree that digital copies of vinyl/tape/CDs are considered "fair use." I hate those bastards...

Oh, and BTW, I don't consider being a pirate a bad thing, so don't take it the wrong way ;)[hr]http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h43/mark3748/desktop.jpg

Here's another, my Windows desktop

Love the screen shots! You folks have some nice stuff going on there.
Oh and after you hit "PrntScrn" and Adobe or PSP won't work, try Paint. I had to do that -- Vista throws hissies at PSP and Adobe just wouldn't produce the pic. Yay for Paint!
Let's see more!

All that nonsense with paint and photoshop or whatnot. You'd think they would have worked out an easier way to take a screenshot in Vista?
Since MS copied everyone else when making vista, why didn't they copy Linux? Just hit PrintScrn, and click save on the requester that pops up.

Voila! Instant screenshot showing Victoria Crater on Mars. :)

He belongs to Linux Anonymous. It's a 12-step program that teaches you how to be a geek. The first step is: "Forget everything you ever knew about Windows."
Sigh.
Same with Vista. Forget everything you ever learned about XP or any OS before you got Vista. Then find a cool shrink who believes in prescribing loads of recreational pharmaceuticals.

OK. All of my wallpapers and such are boring. But, what I have open on my work computer at any given time might be interesting.

Check out the taskbar at the bottom. I count 47 windows open.
