Letterman wins no matter who the guest is! Letterman is 10 times better than Leno.
I don't watch either..........but wouldn't anyway until the strike is officially over. Making deals does nobody any good.
On one hand, I agree with you... on the other (and this is HUGE for me) we wont get any honest reporting on current events when we leave it up to the mainstream media. Its like the court jesters are the only ones allowed to criticize the king.
Letterman negotiated a deal with the writers guild... Leno did not (Hes coming back without writers). Letterman replaces (in a minute, condensed way. If only for seconds each night) what used to pass for investigative journalism... and Jon Stewart.... damn, I love stewart, unfortunately I dont have cable or satellite.
If the Screen Writers Guild says Letterman is good to go.... who am I to say "Bah, Humbug!!"[hr]The media is in bed with our rulers....
Ya gotta give us SOMETHING!
I've been watching Letterman since he had the daytime show. No sense in watching anyone else now.

I might download it on bittorrent. We don't get too many American talk shows on TV here in France :D

Dave was great tonight. Had a full two month long beard. Robin Williams hit him with Santa jokes, mullah jokes, grandpa jokes, and a bunch of other stuff and all Dave could do was laugh. Made a big deal about the writers going on strike and even made them part of the Top 10 and an additional skit where they cut in before the punchline was delivered to remind people that the writers write punchlines.
I caught Leno during Dave's commercial breaks. Boring.

I didn't watch either...I would have tuned into Letterman if Williams promised to snort an eight-ball before the show, but no such luck.
