I love the graphics. Happy election year every one ;)
Ok........it's official it's 2009. My Christmas was today and it's a White one. Snow on the ground and expecting at least another 6 inches.

And, Happy New Year to everyone.
Patrick, you could be a good libertarian and just ride, anyway. Like I do. Hell, in Colorado it's an $18 fine to ride without the proper endorsement.
So far, I've just taken my chances.

I acknowledge the fine in Hawaii might be manageable for the lack of a license endorsement. But I bet the no-insurance fine would be outrageous!
I think I'll knuckle under...a part of wisdom is picking your battles...
I am gonna shoot for better balance for my activities in 2008. Sometimes I think my life's a bit out of balance...
Good on ya, Pat.
I resolve to get my Gold Wing running and graduate college.

It's good to have defined goals at the beginning of a year.
Resolutions...not so much.
But to live consciously means setting down your aspirations and your values and making steady progress towards what you know is right for you...
Yeah, DANG. What is the plan for the Gold Wing?
And when is commencement?
Resolutions and goals are all the same to me.
I have to be realistic though, because circumstances beyond
my control can change everything.
I am not sure I can keep the bike. It weighs almost a ton and backing
it in and out of my small driveway with my bad back may not be realistic.
As for graduation, I am hesitant to take the last 3 general ed classes in one semester.
I did that last semester and it was a bit much. The homework for one class (POLS 301)
really heaped it on. I have a feeling Business Communication will do the same... as well
as Art History and Horticulture. I will still go full time but I will take a couple of art classes
(Guitar and ceramics?) along with 2 gen. ed.
So I will only need one class in the Fall to graduate.
I may be too old for it to even matter much, except for my own improvement/self esteem.
(ooops, I meant to say my bike weighs almost 1/2 ton)
