Will this assassination be what sparks the steps to WW3 like the Assassination of Austria's Arch Duke Franz Ferdinand that launched the steps to WW1? Pakistan's Military were against Bhutto along with the Al Qaeda and Taliban. The assassination will obviously spark mass riots and anarchy since Bhutto was the favorite to win in the elections. Musharraf said the elections will go forward which will insure his probable win again in the elections since the opposition is gone. The military will put the country in lock down and try to suppress the rioting opponents and that might lead to civil war. If that happens what will become of the 70 or so nukes? Who will be in charge and will they be used if the wrong hands get ahold of them? This is similar to what happened in 1914 when the arch duke was killed( excluding the nukes). Anarchy ensued as one faction blamed the other (Serbs) which drug in other countries and eventually led to ww1. So here's the question. Should the US back Martial Law in Pakistan and clamp down on the Country to allow free elections? Also should we go in with a final massive full fledge Military assault and finally kill all the Taliban and Jihads who are opposed to Democracy? What do you think and if their are nukes used in Pakistan or used on India what should the U.S. do?

Those are all ridiculous scenarios.

Pakistan's military SUPPORTED the Taliban and AlQaeda.

Right up to the point of needing to switch sides so the US would give them 10 billion dollars. :D

Martial law? Not too democratic! Martial law so there can be "free elections?" Heh. That's a good one, KDK!

"WE," meaning the US military, are in no condition for any "full fledged assault." Forget that notion. Iraq is keeping ol' Uncle Sam a bit too busy just now.

And the nukes of Pakistans are a sorta scary thought. I hope their failsafe tecniques are as good or better than the US Airforce's. Considering USAF lost track of six of them for 36 hours this year...

I am talking about martial law if riots break out. You know martial law was declared in New Orleans after the storm.

I wouldn't worry too much about that. Bhutto's death was, apparently, planned by Al Quada and I don't see them falling back on martial law yet.
As for nukes, last I heard, Pakistan's air force was a joke, so what are they gonna do? FedEx it?
Please. Common sense here, y'all!

YOU think. These other means of delivery doesn't mean they are effective. Pakistan has a long way to go to be a threat, in case you didn't know.
By the way, the Archduke's driver took a wrong turn. Bhutto was in a designated motorcade in a country that has some extremists.
By that token, JFK's assassination -- again, in a motorcade -- can be applied here as well.
