NASA waits for behind-schedule contractor (http://www.space.com/news/071219-nasa-cots-bill-delay.html)

We need someone to get a judge out of bed, kick a handful of lawyers in the ass, and get this case resolved so this contrator can be kicked off the project and someone who is able to meet deadlines can bid on it. The beginnings of the private space race are going to be bumpy and this is definitely not the last failure to be expected. The show must go on!

Another example of why government is better at doing large tasks than private enterprises that only soak the taxpayer and provide no benefit in the end.

Oh, but, wait! Isn't privatizing everything now the republican mantra especially when there is no oversight so they can spend as much money as possible? I wonder why it is so bad for Liberals to advocate a social program that spends money like it is going out of style but it's OK for conservatives to advocate spending the same kind of money on a contractor to do something that government used to do for itself? It's all taxpayers dollars, isn't it?
