I have some ideas which I will express later but first I'd like to know what do you think?
Rammstein Rosenrot
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2SoW5-tLe-U[hr]Oh...
I forgot to say that I am not asking to translate the song. :)
The text doesn't mean much (or should I say it is quite different from the video, I think), and it can be found here -

So the question is about the video.

Who cares? Its Rammstein, you know the ones who dress up as zombies... You might as well ask what Sonne or Ich Will or Du Hast or better yet Amerika is about. Rammstein like every other metal band does what ever the hell they want when it comes to their videos...
Honestly December its Rammstein why ask?
But seeing as you placed this in religion you are probably talking about how the members of Rammstein are dressed up as people from different religions and how Till Lindemann falls in love with a girl and is a member of the clergy.
Plus the song was inspired in my opinion by Schneeweißchen und Rosenrot and probably some other obscure german influences. But the original song was about a guy that climbs up a mountain for a rose that a girl he loves wants. He is then killed because he slips or something or something like that. My German isn't that good...
Better question for you what is the meaning of the video Mein Teil?

The Red Rose as a metaphor.
Actually two alternating metaphors.
Symbolism alone is quite telling.
..just for starters..
Come on crimzonsol, Rammstein kicks ass !
