Maybe some people won't go out and vote, since God's taking care of it.:lmao:

OMG. As if God would be against raising the minimum wage.

That's a sick ad.

I guess nothing is sacred. This is why I've come to despise religion. It's being used and abused right before our eyes. And Christians are busy crying over someone trying to take away Christmas instead of fighting against this sort of political hijacking.

Disgusting.

I know! It means more in the collection plate!

HAHA Lily.

I was referring more to "the meek shall inherit the earth" type rhetoric. And a rich man has a better chance of going to heaven than a camel through the eye of a needle. You know, the bible references about helping the poor and not being greedy.

The stuff the Christian right ignores....

What about the economic fact that price controls for labor prevent many people from being able to work at all? Somehow, I think God would prefer people making some money rather than none.

Look Jesus Made Water into Wine (Obvious Party Animal) and told people to eat bread as if it were him so he said "EAT ME". Jesus was a party animal. That means he was not only for homosexual sex, but sex in general, and mutli-people sex.

Jesus was THE party animal. Christians got it wrong, plain and simple. If Jesus were around today he would say "Gee I never thought of smoking that plant, but good for you all".

Jesus was not only a liberal, but he would give the conservative today the middle finger.

I think they make money, its called subsidized living and welfare of the capitalist system. Now I think god would perfer for people to have living wages for their children to have a roof over their head on a 40 hour work week, and CEOs & stock holders to get what they are really worth - whatever that means. :embarrased::rolleyes:

What about getting rid of labor restrictions and corporate welfare? That would level the playing field more than anything else. Laws can, and usually are, tweaked by politicians and special interests to serve themselves over everyone else. If there are no laws to tweak, it's hard work and innovation that carry the day, as they should!
