THE UN Human Rights Committee has called on the US to shut down all secret detention facilities in a report raising deep concerns about the conduct of the war on terror.
Or what.

I personally think the UN can go pound sand on this one. Not that secret prisons are a good thing mind you but we shouldn't shut them down just because some worthless UN panel tells us to.

Also how do they even know about these prisons. Aren't secret prisons supposed to be secret, they can't be if people know enough about their existence to demand their closure and that worries me just about as much as the fact we run them.

I personally think the UN can go pound sand on this one. I'll second that. We need to remain a sovereign nation. The UN can kiss off.

I would like any proof that "secret" prisons exist.

Isn't that like the U.N. demanding that UFO flights cease existence?
