When asked "Should Israel alone attack the Iranian nuclear installations?" 67.2 % said no, while 20.9 % said yes and 11.9 % had no opinion, said the survey aired on public radio.

The important question that wasn't asked is "Should Israel attack alone the Iranian nuclear installations if it is CONFIRMED they have a nuclear weapon?" And when I mean confirmed, I mean there is no doubt.

I think you would get a far more different answer then.

That's why Security Policies should never be dictated by polls. The outcome is solely dependant on how the question is asked.

Why you should ask that kind question since there´s no proof about the nuclear weapons ?

WHY ? Please, tell me WHY ?

There is a problem with interpreting this poll: it conflates two questions:

Most Israelis would agree that Iran gaining a nuclear weapon would be a grave threat.

But many Israelis also believe that Israel could not successfully attack Iran alone with conventional weapons. (Former CIA chief Woosley says it would take around 2600 JDAMS: the Israeli Air Force cannot deliver that)

Fortunately for us all, it looks like there is still a bit of time for both sides to take a chill pill on this.

Why you should ask that kind question since there´s no proof about the nuclear weapons ?

WHY ? Please, tell me WHY ?


Tell you what, re-read what I said and then tell me where I said they DID have them? I gave an example is all I did.
