Should that happen it would most definitely be the debate of the millennium, and since Paul is becoming more and more popular as Clinton loses credibility it just might (not saying it will) happen. And I can picture some of how the final debate between them would be right now:

-When asked about solving Iraq, Clinton would bring up withdrawing the troops. Paul would say the same but then dig deeper and bring up that she voted to go there in the first place, while he did not.

-When asked about abortion rights, Clinton would say it should be allowed but keep it safe and rare. Paul would simply say let the states decide what to do, though he is personally against it.

-When asked about Iran, Clinton would say keep the sanctions in play and still keep military action in mind. Paul would say we simply talk to them and leave them alone.

Note: I would put a poll here but we all know the poll would favor Paul.

Much of Clinton's recent loss of credibility, as you put it, can be attributed to hubby Bill.

Bill was a lot better than she, IMHO. At least he didn't get us into any *major* wars...

Ron is allready polling very good against Hillary!

I think, he would win Hillary. Hillary is full of rhetoric and Ron could easily make her look even worse than now...

I would love to know how Ron Paul thinks he can cut all these taxes and still pay off this huge bill, all the while funding all the programs that Bush has cut to the bones or decimated outright.

It just does not seem like a realistic idea.

There's no way anyone can pay off $9 trillion, cut taxes or not. The least it would do is ease the pain and make it less.
