View Full Version : How To Save The USA?
December

As I can see there are plenty of forces around the world and within the US (Bush and Co. is one of them) working on the destruction the United States.
Their idea is eliminate not the country itself but to cut the core of the country by nullifying the very foundation of the USA.
I am speaking about the Constitution and the Bill Of Rights.
As soon as these two documents are gone a dictatorship will be established in the United States.
It will be a neo-USSR type of coutry government of which will allow some private proterty and some free enterprise simply to keep economy running.
Any ideas how to stop it?

On election day vote the way Russians do. Early and often.

I think we're beyond help. After all, wasn't it Bush who said that the Constitution was nothing but a piece of paper? Sounds like a beginning to me. What we need to do is not only just vote in 2008, but hopefully vote for someone who thinks more of the Constitution than that.

Purrs,
If memory serves, I think his exact words were "it's nothing but a God damned piece of paper." I think that's what Boogy accuses of Zo of saying at one point.
But I still have hope. I've been around long enough to see several of these swings into utter irrelevance, and I'm fairly confident that the nation will begin to move toward a more constructive engagement with the world and with its own citizens next year.
Like Lily says, voting can't hurt.

Purrs,
And let me guess, Ron Paul is the man that will save the U.S.A.

I don't know yet. I wonder if anyone has the wherewithal to do it, if we indeed do need saving. We need something better going on here, for sure.
Buck, you're right on the wording, I misquoted it.
And voting sure will help. Geez, it has to. It's pretty much the only hope we do have.

Is that some personal wish of yours? This thread is nonsense. Why not just say as soon as the martians land they will turn humans into food. There is no basis in fact that our society is on the brink of crumbling.
At least you posted in the right forum catagory this time. Kudos for that.

What are you talking about, Labrocca?[hr]After all, wasn't it Bush who said that the Constitution was nothing but a piece of paper? Sounds like a beginning to me.
That's right.
The North American Union...

Yeah. Vote in 2008.
And who is the man to vote for, lily?
They all look like typical smooth talking politicians...
Jesus H. Christ, you talk as though you're on some weird fuc***g physcotropic drugs. Are you? Why am I even asking?
My advice. Rehab my friend.
We need some moderation here. Can admins do something about this Scorpion man who trolls 24/7?

December......I honestly don't know yet. It's only November of 2007........I
gave up on Ron Paul. Don't like Hillary and her bag of tricks and her
wanting to keep this war going. I really like Richardson, and Obama isn't
looking too bad. Guilani is a crook, I'd trust McCain to run this country
right, but also don't like his stance on the Middle East. Romney is too
slick and Thompson for all the GOPs hope has gone flat really fast.

Well, Ron Paul sounds OK. He says what people like to hear.
However, he does look like an honest man, but the rest of the crowd are just typical carrier making guys.... Ty-pi-cal!
If Ron Paul will do what he promises to do when he gets elected then he will be eliminated like JFK.
Ron Paul wants to get rid of the IRS. Well, I like the idea, but some people with REAL power I am sure don't like it at all. :D
So...
The vote won't do a job. The Fed still will be a reality after the "elections". And, as you might know, the the Fed, which is privately owned by the European families, is the true power in US.

Ron Paul can say he'd like to do this and that.....but unless he has the backing of the House and Senate.......he can't do anything.

I believe that we can learn from the French, they have already encoutered the problem of ineffectual leadership. I say we do it the French way.
OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BRING ON THE GUILLOTINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That or we take all the potential leaders out for an afternoon of electroshock just to get them back on track.
Honestly, the only way this country can change is if the people wake the fuck up. We really need to do something about the values of our society.
We could always elect me as president for life. That would solve most of our problems and its not like I could screw up worse than any of the politicions we curently have to choose from.

I never understood why people seem to feel that the constiuton is infallible. Lefty atheists who claim to be against blindly following dogma are doing just that by assuming that the constitution should be followed to the letter, forget the constitution, the people who wrote it weren't that smart anyway.

I never understood why people seem to feel that the bible is infallible. Righty Christian Fanatics who claim to be against blindly following dogma are doing just that by assuming that the bible should be followed to the letter, forget the bible, the people who wrote it weren't that smart anyway.
Decided to correct the above quote for the righties.

You see that's just it.....we don't think the constitution is infallible. That's why there's ammendments.

Well that's almost valid, but the problem with the Bible isn't that it isn't infallible, but that the interpreters aren't.
