I support Ron Paul. I do not agree with everything he says, but I am guaranteed to see change. Ron Paul has been consistent for 30+ years.
It is time to get off the welfare state. I have sympathy for those who lived through the Great Depression, but America was not founded on the "Cradle to the Grave" ideology. We are a nation built off of personal responsibility and innovation. Lets stop giving handouts to people who don't deserve them. (i.e. welfare mom's with 4 children who don't speak English). Immigrants think that they have a right to our economy, but not our heritage.
Abolish the Income Tax and get rid of the IRS. This is American. Standing up to taxes and holding government responsible. Abolishing the income tax and the IRS scares certain people. I love it. People were afraid when the Sons of Liberty threw tea into a harbor. Americans are anti-tax. In America we play baseball instead of cricket. Be afraid. People are going to hold the government responsible. I don't want the government to run a deficit. I do not want my grandchildren taxed for our behavior.
Lets discuss foreign policy and nation building. America builds nations by example and not by force. We do not have the right to occupy 130 nations. It is time to bring our troops home and lead by example. Are you scared to lead by example rather than force?
Lets limit the size of government. We all have personal responsibility for ourselves and others. Many people milk the government while others seriously need it. Lets eradicate the weeds. There are still homeless people in the streets. Libertarians does not say "Fuck You" to people in need. Libertarians say "Help yourself and I'll help you."
The Constitution is not just a "goddamn piece of paper." It is an outline of how our country should be governed. It is a paper that offers freedom.
I do not care if you vote for Ron Paul, but please wake up. Start demanding that the government serves the people and not vice versa. Shake up the government. Instead of believing the War on Drugs, question the war itself. Instead of believing the War on Terror, question the war itself.
