They just hit over $2 million...best single day record online ever for a candidate. The best single day period is Romney with 3.1 million. There is a chance Paul can hit that. If he does I can't see how the media can't give him the respect he deserves as a candidate. Too often he is dismissed.

You know, I tried once to contribute to Mr. Paul's and Mr. Kucinish's campaign by clicking the button on their web site.

I then realized, that the contributor needs to be a resident of USA. A Canadian cannot do it, unless he lives in the US.

This is probably a good thing, in the sense that foreigners cannot control US politics. But then, I see foreign corporations funding the US electoral systems and specific candidates in round about ways - so I guess there will always be some contradictions.

Meanwhile, I wish Mr. Paul good luck. I doubt however, that he can make the necessary difference. His success would have to come with the defeat of a very well entrenched system that is almost all too powerful. Nonetheless, strange things do happen, and old systems give way to new ones. So, I still wish him good luck.
