Well, they're proving again that FEMA can't pour piss out of a boot, even with the directions printed on the hell. They held a press conference attended by nothing but FEMA employees to reassure us all that they're REALLY gonna take care of the poor sods in Southern California this time. Personally, I think EVERY political appointee "working" in FEMA ought to be drawn and quartered and fed to hungry homeless dogs from S. California and New Orleans. I can hardly wait to see how our resident conservatives are gonna excuse this one....:fight:

Gaaahhh....FEMA. Brings to mind those famous words after Hurricane Katrina:
"You're doing a heckuva job, Brownie."
They need to clean house, get all the political horsebreeders, lawyers, and businessmen out of there and replace them with qualified firefighters, HAZMAT experts, rescue personnel, paramedics, and others who REALLY know what to do in a disaster.
Most of those now in FEMA wouldn't even qualify to be a volunteer fire chief in the state of NC.
And that is scary. I have a hell of a lot more faith in my local volunteer fire department than I EVER had in FEMA.
