We took a team of middle school and high school amateur robot builders to the regional BEST Robotics competition this week and our team took 4th out of 17 teams! :)
This was our first year to attempt this and though our goals were pretty ambitious we did well against some teams that have been participating in the competition for years.
Our robot was named Elmo.

If you get a chance to mentor kids and have technical abilities to aid them in design and implementation you can do some real good and get a kid started on a lifetime of fun with robotics.
