Reasons to invade cuba. I just can't bring myself to argue for a neocon-type policy even though I can see their logic. I thought I could but I never got past an outline.

Rape... pedophilia... bestiality... anything that advocates intentionally hurting another person or animal for someone's sick needs. I cannot stomach anyone who advocates that and will generally not be able to be civil. There is no justification and I cannot listen to the excuses without wanting to do things that are against the weave of my moral fabric.

I can't stand debating topics of morality like abortion. You can't get anywhere debating those things.

I think I'd have to agree, Bobby. Practically everyone already has a fixed opinion with a lot of emotional investment. Such discussions inevitably start flame wars.

What topic are you worst at debating?

The economy. Not how it effects people, but the economy itself. I almost never join debates on the economic issues unless the discussion is about how its effecting people.

What topic do you least enjoy debating?


On most forums probably animal rights. I love debating it on certain sites, but I'm very, very careful about where I debate it and I if I bring it up here I end have to hold my tongue throughout. And when I do find myself getting into a debate on it I tend to pick and choose the posters I will discuss the issue with. For example, I know boogy won't really set me off but I know stoner probably will. It's my one real "extremist" position and the one where I'm most likely to act like dick cheney and tell you to "go fuck yourself".

I can't abide torture. Anyone who advocates it ends up on my Dial M list. I just go ballistic.

I usually won't talk religious matters with an atheist because they are so disrespectful.
