Are mexican citizens ready for Americanized versions of their own foods?

Taco Bell is opening a store in Monterrey, Mexico and plans to open more.
Company officials say they know they'll have a tough time selling
traditional foods, so their new slogan in Mexico is "Taco Bell is something
else." Apparently to prevent comparisons with traditional mexican dishes.

It's not the first attempt. Back in 1992, Taco Bell's stores failed in
Mexico less than two years after opening.

Become they are already there, its not like they'd need to come here for Mexican food. Could you see some one from Mexico coming here to get Mexican food... Hey why did you come to America? Oh I come for the Taco Bell, I got sick of the real thing and wanted something quick thats hard to tell whats inside.. I think might be meat..
