Well there is going to be a hellish week for the Lebanese and Palestinians. Seems like it's falling apart pretty fast. Anyone think this will blow over and will it get way worse?

Sorry bout that,
1. But worse, much worse.
2. I see a nuke or three being used, and soon.
3. I see refugees
4. I see no more mister nice guy.
5. I feel no pain for the Arabs, after knowing how they chop up our American men.

This is a very interesting situation and with the history of escalation and de-escalation in that area of the world it is hard to find a definite indicator one way or the other.
I personally think we are going to see Ahmadiniejad of Iran desperate to find some inroad to the fracas.Â*Â*He has already threatened Israel with an attack if they look sideways at Syria and I expect him to scrape up some feigned righteous indignation over lebanon.
If Hizbolla is successful in taking those two captured IDF soldiers to Iran, I hold out very little hope for a de-escalation of hostility any time soon.
Hamas and Hizbolla have made their own metaphorical beds and now they will have to lie in them.

I don’t think this war will be complete until Syria and Iran are engulfed in it. I think it’s almost inevitable.

I feel that you are correct GPS. It is most likely going to move to Syria first and then Iran will try to flex its muscles, bringing the US into the fray.
