Good post.

Having heard Ron Paul over on U Tube and having read some of his articles and petitions on the House of Representative floor, I have come to develop a grudging respect for what a true Republican is about.

He is without a doubt in my mind one of a few candidate that best represents hope for the Americans in general, not to mention a large swath of the rest of the world too. I also believe Kucinich, in spite of opposing views on some issues, also has great similarity on key issues.

Both of them have been very consistent in their voting record, and did not sway with the wind. Both also have the good habit of reading up all the bills before voting, and have the intelligence and substance to borrow heavily from the constitution, to see through murky issues and vote correctly to uphold the constitution. Both are refuse to fall prey to special interest lobby groups. Both have strong core values about America and about the world. Neither of them are for sale.

Here is the dilemma though. Neither Paul nor Kucinich are likely to win nomination from their respective parties. Neither, as far as I can gather, are even considering standing on an independent platform.

So, where does that leave America?

I feel they should think outside the box, join hands, and stand together on an independent platform, and fight the very establishment that now runs both republican and Democratic platform.

Admittedly, internet has made some differences and allowed grassroot movements to be redefined up to a point. But that alone does not seem to be enough. Paul and Kucinish needs to seize the opportunity with both hands and raise the election to another level.

Anyhow, good luck to Paul. :peace:
