I was watching some talk show this morning and they were interviewing an Eisenhower biographer. For the life of me I can't remember Ike's "girlfriend's" name.

A little chubby? Are you daft? Geez, by that standard Marilyn Monroe was a "little chubby." No way. Toothpick chicks don't make it. Kay Summersby was a doll. I can see why Ike was poking her.

Ah, Cobra! One of these days you'll find out that your mind is also completely full of factoids that you won't realize you remembered. That's why us old farts sometimes have trouble remembering what day it is! But I know the difference between a 1947 and a 1948 Ford. One never knows when knowing that factoid, as you so dismissively call it :sadly:, may solve some world crisis. On the other hand you could be right--it's prolly useless.

Kay Summersby was the one I was thinking of.....she was quite pretty........and yes, she was English.
