I am about to start armyforums.com and need some serious help. First off I was never in military. I bought the domain for too good a deal to pass up. So I need a dedicated admin to help me get the site poppin. I can split revenue with anyone who is serious about their dedication. You would get complete admin access.

I prefer an Army member but I guess any military will do.

One of the first things I need is forum categories and descriptions.

Of course anyone here wanting to be a member there is welcome to signup. That site will be a promilitary site so don't think you can go there and debate. It's not a political site perse.

PM or post if you have interest or questions.

I'd be glad to help out. I'm a Vietnam veteran having served two tours from 68-71. B and D Troop, 2/7th Cavalry, 1st Cavalry Division (Airmobile).

I wouldn't mind helping out either as an admin or member, just as long as it is not going to be a debate site.

I would suggest some categories such as:

Care Packages: Discussion and requests for various care packages to be sent to troops. I sent off about 5 over this last month. This would give a chance to really reach out to some troops.

Military Weapons: Come on who doesn't love to blow shit up in the military? :)

Military Stories:

Military Families and Friends: This way you can get more than just military members.

Not sure if you want to go into separation of the different branches in the beginning, but something to think about later if it grows.

Job Wantings: For those seeking employment, can post either jobs or job services to help out those leaving the military.

Again not sure if you want to separate some forums for veterans, active duty, or guard, but that is an option later.

Just some thoughts off the top of my head.

Could have a recruitment forum kinda where people who have served could tell those interested what the military is really like and give pointers, ect.
