Now had it been Bill Moyers, I would have said "ew, ahhh". Because that would have indeed be an impressive endorsement for a Ron Paul.

I like the Round Table element of his show. I also usually like "New Rules." But I think the man himself is an asshole.

As for Ron Paul, he'll take the endorsement, but Maher pulls little to no weight in a political circle.

I have no respect nor patience for Mr. Maher. I had no problem with the joker until he starting showing up at parties right after the death of Steve Irwin dressed as the picture below shows.
