If anyone here uses open office, there is a new version out.
I have not had the chance to update mine, but will soon. If you don't use OOo, I can say that I very much recommend it and that it is almost entirely compatible with Microsoft Office. And hey, you can't beat the price.

And there has been more good news on the OOo front this week as IBM has stated that they will be jumping on the OOo bandwagon. They will be offering their own fork of the application with code they merge with some legacy lotus stuff, but they will also be giving back to OOo.
