I seem to remember a thread here, not too long ago, claiming that atheists don't try to convert non-atheists. :ponder:

Boogy, it's called "satire." Atheists don't care what you people do in the privacy of your own homes or in your places of worship. They don't understand it, they ridicule it, and the satirize it, but mostly they just leave it alone. They really only get upset when they see the secular government taken over by fundamentalists. . .

Atheism is a set of beliefs, just as religion is.
Or was that point made before?
I think so....

The funny thing about atheists is that most of the arguments they use are equally valid in showing the irrationality of atheism. Having said that, atheism doesn't have to be individualistic, but the type of atheists that aren't usually aren't the ones shoving in your face like that retard Dawkins. John Safran on the other hand, is awsome, I don't agree with him, except on the idea that religious people, particularly Mormons, are incredibly fun to piss off.
and LOLOLOL at the video

^Well done, I don't care how religious you are, if you don't find that video funny, you need to stop taking the world so seriously.

That's the whole point, Moses, and I'm glad you caught it. ;)[hr]

Oh really? In which tome are these "beliefs" written? Can you enunciate them for me?
Atheism is practically a misnomer. As if someone could be "against" something that doesn't exist. Nontheism is more succinct.

Can't see why you'd call it rubbish. I find JS vs. God and the radio show in particular to be very open minded discussion. They get people from all religious and political persuations on.
What makes it such a brilliant format is that John mixes his and Father Bob's hilarious wit (they make an awesome duo) with really important and difficult issues. I'd actually say it's one of the more intelligent podcasts I download.
John, and to a lesser degree Bob seem to go to great length to keep it nicely ballanced, and even get some extremist right wing comentators on (like the guy that wrote that book about the many virtues of oil companies for example.) Granted, it is leaning toward Australian audiences, but there is allot that most Americans can get out of it.
