That's bad, but not as bad as I have seen.
Last week or maybe the week before, the daily show showed a clip about one of the House committee?s debates concerning video games, and one complete goon made a fool of himself with comments about 'inner city yutes'. It was really awful.
Then of course, there is Senator Byrd's infamous comments a couple of years ago about white n'words. That is the kind of nonsense you expect from ignorant hicks that don't know any better, but not from US freaking Senators. Amazing.

Sorry bout that,
1. But that's real bad, IMHBO.
2. He not only slander the Indian People, but he slandered me, and every non Indian, needed to speak with an Indian Accent.
2. Not no but hell no!
3. This is my country, if that damn shop owner can't understand me in my Texas accent, I will just say "Screw You, Keep Your Coffee!"
4. Why would I say, " Kun I geter Curp er Coffee?"
5. This is America, if I can't be understood here, then its time for them to sell their shop.
6. Why should I have to leave it?

Yeah, while the case can be made that his comments were inappropriate, calling them [those in this clip] racist are a bit of a stretch.
But hey, even if it was slightly over-board I'm happy to finally see the forum members here from the right taking a noble stand against intolerance.

What's wrong with intolerance???People have the freedom to dislike whatever it is they want to, no matter how silly or hateful it appears to someone else.
You're not intolerant of intolerance, are you? I hate that.

I think he was trying to be funny but the comment wasn't appropriate. I don't think it was outrageous. If he was a comedian people would have laughed but as a politician it was in poor taste.

I think the point is that, if a Repub had made a similar comment, he'd be ridden out of town on a rail.
Babu would not be amused. But Bart would think it was funny.

Any examples to back up this claim? Senator Allen made some pretty wild (and similar in theme) comments this past weekend to a man of Indian descent. The man was born in Virginia and Allen knows him quite well as he's a worker of Allen's opponent's campaign and assigned to follow Allen around--still Allen went so far as to "welcome him to America"?
Where's the ride on the rail for Allen? He and his comments have been discussed online and in the media but I haven't exactly seen him tarred and feathered.
