Thinking of becoming a liberal? Consider the remarkable inconsistency and delusional thinking needed to embrace the liberal agenda:


* Execution of a convicted killer is cruel, unusual & barbaric; whereas a woman's right to abort the life of an innocent child is inalienable.

* Invading a foreign nation is wrong, except when illegal immigrants from Mexico invade America.

* Discrimination based on race or gender is wrong. Except when waged against caucassian men, in which case it is mandated by law & called Affirmative Action.

*Masculinity & all things male are the source of all evil, whereas feminism is liberating & spiritual in nature. Jesus was probably female, truth be known!

* Freedom of speech must never be repressed, except when "hurtful" to any constituency of the Democrat party.

* Tax cuts are wrong if it means returning money to the people who actually paid taxes, but perfectly fine when sent to those who paid no taxes.

* Christmas, the Holy Bible & other symbols of Christianity must be quashed so as to offend no one; whereas, Ramadan, the Koran & symbols of Islam must be heavily promoted in the name of religious awareness & tolerance.

* Businesses are oppressive, fascist institutions that must not be allowed to grow too large, while big government, when run by Democrats, creates wealth & happiness & must be expanded.

* Military force must never be used, except when absolutely needed to advance interests not vital to the US, or to obscure a Democrat president's sexual misconduct in the Oval Office.

I thought about replying with a simple "Duh, this is so stupid", but I'm kinda bored today...

* Execution of a convicted killer is cruel, unusual & barbaric; whereas a woman's right to abort the life of an innocent child is inalienable.

But our society, has and does pay for people who are imprisoned for life. Remember, Republicans are AGAINST Welfare, ergo our society does not want to pay for unwanted children.

To be honest, as a person who was adopted, I wish there was no abortion. But I've talked to my birth mother who considered abortion because she was so alone, family was against her, and even her family (her dad was a preacher) wanted her to have an abortion. They sent her away, for five months, to have me out of town with an Aunt. I, and my mother, were an embarrassment. So,while I don't like it, I understand those weaker then my mother, who have abortions.

Being a liberal is being able to understand.

* Invading a foreign nation is wrong, except when illegal immigrants from Mexico invade America.

So far over 3700 Americans have been killed in Iraq. 30K wounded. According to Department of Defence records over 100K Iraqis have been killed. Scores more wounded and over 4 million displaced. Where is your evidence of similiar numbers from a Mexican invasion.

* Discrimination based on race or gender is wrong. Except when waged against caucassian men, in which case it is mandated by law & called Affirmative Action.

I'm against AA, but I realize that people are trying to balance out a history where whites were above all for 200 years in America. So I'll live.

I don't get where you associate that with the Liberal party, but considering that the Democrats, to this point, have never had a Female POTUS or leader of the DNC, I'd have to say that, factually, this statement is wrong.

Is Christmas quashed? It's still a Federal Holiday, right? As to the Bible, you wanna take a trip to a hotel? Other symbols of Christianity like churches, my town of 50K has 15 of them; Cross' - watch a MLB game and see how many you see, also watch ANY sport for the "sign of the cross"; Turn on ANY t.v. on a Sunday and tune into a local channel - what do you see?

I don't think Christianity has anything to worry about.

Because GOVT. is controlled, theorhetically, by all the PEOPLE. Hence Clinton took the country one way, Bush the other - things could change due to the will of the people. Businesses are controlled by VERY FEW people. Who controls IBM or Microsoft, a handful of shareholders?
