I have my doubts about whether this is true, not calling you gullible or anything but it is only an email.

Well, you can have your doubts cleared by just going through the Quran. Its no big deal, but you can find out the truth yourself, Its not just an email, thw whole Quran is rythmic and symmetrical, thats the beauty of it!

Fair enough.

Interesting reading, but i'm astonished how the people in islamic countries put the woman under the man.

Yeah it's very symmetrical..kill 70 infidels get 70 virgins.
I also find it hard to believe that Man and WOman are only mentioned 24 times each.

I completely believe this post and this may be shocking for other religions people.

Many scientists have admitted that Quran is filled with knowledge.True knowledge.

Most scholars argue the virgin bit is a mistranslation. And there is no number in the quran, that is found in secondary religious texts.

eternity with 70 virgins. Its obvious the young males in this sect have no clue what eternity with 70 women would be like.

I have read the Qu'ran several times in my younger days and found some the versus complicated to understand and some that made so much sence. As an example, men are equal to women. Yes, man and woman are equal, you need both to survive and both to reproduce. Both are equal because both are compatible. Its the logical sence it makes. More than being symmetrical, its being critical in the of the survival of humanity.

This is what made sence to me in my religious readings

I read the Qu'ran recently and it seemed like a rebuttal to the Christian Bible and Christianity.
Also, I certainly never got the impression from either the Qu'ran or the Bible that men and women were completely equal.

I look forward to reading it. Religion is not about women being inferior to men, but it recognises that they have inherently different abilities and should be treated as such. Modern society hates inequality and its women suffer the most for it.

Excellent post, Moses. You hit the nail on the head.

Although I'm male, there's something hideously wrong when I hear people not only talking of conscription for Middle East wars, but also that women should be in combat units equally to men.

In other words, the chatter class has become so disillusioned by egalitarian ideology they think it's sensible to force females of prime reproductive age into deadly combat zones for the sake of egalitarianism. I know I'm not the only one who finds this a serious flaw in our culture, not to mention very inhuman.

Modern society refuses to acknowledge that people have different abilities, this is responsible for the current socal disorder. This failure to recognise true inequality is a sign of a far deeper problem that penetrates every sphere which man has traditionally occupied.
