Ok. I have seen all these videos. Now, first of all what makes steel?
FIRE.
What can destroy steel?
FIRE.
You take a large jet full of aviation gas, run it into a concrete and steel building, what do you get?
FIRE and HEAT. This breaks down steel.
Ergo, the towers collapsed.
They were designed to fall in upon themselves, and that is what they did. There were no thermite charges, no controlled collapse, the towers fell the way they were designed to. Had the engineers designed them to topple, many buildings in lower Manhattan would be wiped out. The engineers understood this, and designed the towes to collapse in and upon themselves.
Now the Pentagon.
I don't know. My jury is out, but I don't know. I'm a pilot myself and dealing with crashes, I just don't know.
Flight 93:
We have absolute proof that that was a plane. The cell phone conversations, everything, points to a group of very heroic people who were bent on derailing the terrorists' plot. They did it. They are heroes.
Simply put, on 9-11 we were attacked by terrorists. There is no conspiracy and no doubt in my mind that we were attacked, and this was not some government thing or setup.
That's my take on it. I stand for what I believe, and I do not think there was any kind of conspiracy.

Pookie gets it. Pretty cool how those videos just rip apart the assenine conspiracy theories the libs come up with.

Well, I have a degree in engineering. I know how this stuff works. See, what happens is, you take a 757 or a 767 flying at 300-plus miles an hour, loaded with aviation fuel, making contact with a steel and concrete structure. What happens at that time is what we call a "limitation curve." That means that not only the velocity of the aircraft itself plus the initial impact weakens the structure to begin with. Then you take the subsequent fire and heat, weakening the supports AFTER the initial shock, and you have two buildings collapsing in and upon themselves as they were designed to do.
I know I'm a liberal and all that, but facts are facts. I don't mean to brag, but I am fairly well-educated in things of this matter, and this is just my opinion, based on the facts I know.

Not to mention the plane knocked a lot of the fireproofing off when it slammed into the tower. Temperatures reached 1800 degrees. Steel begins to weaken at 1470. At 1800 degrees steel loses about half of it's structural strength.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this one out. Then again libs love to create loony conspiracy theories when they can't initially explain something instead of doing what every other person on the planet does...which is to research it and find the facts. There's a logical explanation for everything.

But it's much easier to let our minds go wild and come up with whacky conspiracy theories and put it to spooky music. Do that and the sheep will flock to it.

But Stoner, I am a lib. But I know what facts are, and I am sure others will see that and understand. You see, there was no conspiracy. I never let my mind go wild on anything. If at all, I have treated such things as this with a level head. You have to remember, I'm a retired Army major (read: Pain in the ass LOL!) and I know that right-thinking folks will know the difference.
