Supposedly, Ron Paul is going to be on O'Reilly Factor tonight. I can't wait to see this, and hopefully it's worth me missing some of the Ravens vs. Bengals game.

I don't know..O'reilly will most likely really go after Paul. I think he might take the position that Paul is a nut and that may not be a good thing for him.

I agree on both accounts.
If O'Reily actually lets him get a word in, it could be interesting.

This will probably confirm my notion that Bill is more of a populist than a conservative.
Oh well.

I don't always agree with Paul, but his positions are solid and could run rings around O'Reily if given the chance.
It will be interesting and I will watch.

It's sad to see the only Presidential candidate versed in the Constitution is taken less seriously than his statist, Constitutionally ignorant opponents.

Oh well.

You just made the same point I made.
Or is that comment not directed my way?

Nevada,
That illustrates my point, individuals who champion the Constitution are not welcome in either major party.

Strange thing to say, being that Obama taught Constitutional law at the University of Chicago.

He was also the first African-American president of the Harvard Law Review.

Are you only talking about the republican candidates when you make that claim?[hr]

I think you're wrong. Biden, Dodd and Obama have talked a lot about restoring our Constitutional rights that the Bush admin has fucked with. Democratic Senator Russ Feingold has made amazing speeches about our Constitutional rights.

I wish people wouldn't make statements like yours, without knowledge of what they are speaking. It's so frustrating to see statements like that, that are completely false, being made as if they are the truth.

Viola, please, to say that I am making a statement out of ignorance simply does not square with your view is silly. Barack Obama, I am fully aware, taught Constitutional law. Barrack Obama, as I am fully aware, has limited respect for the Constitution. His lack of respect for it, however, manifests itself differently than say, the President's lack of respect. Obama speaks of several programs, etc. that are clearly unConstitutional, it's simply a fact. Biden, Edwards and every other Democratic candidate are similar in this respect. But make no mistake, I am fully aware of the bona fides or lack thereof, of every Presidential candidate in the race.
