I'd rather be hunting with Dick Cheney than shotgun with Patrick Kennedy.

What do you think? Is Patrick Kennedy's shotgun more safe than Dick Cheyney's.

I thought it was I'd rather go hunting with Dick Cheney than driving with Ted Kennedy.

Either Teddy or Patrick would work. Teddy for Chappaquiddick, but I chose Patrick becuase of the more recent crash that he had while he was intoxicated. And as far as the wording of the joke, I think its more appropriate to use the word shotgun than driving because shotgun is not only what Cheney shot, but also shotgun is a term that refers to the driver's side passenger seat.
