Sorry bout that,

1. But time is clicking by, and soon we will begin hearing how so very great the neoliberals are.
2. And how they are going to save the day when Hillary gets into office.
3. The neoliberal media is setting up the machine.
4. In order to brainwash the masses.
5. But first they must see which way the wind blows.
6. And as of now, there is to many questions as to who the Republicans will put as a front runner.
7. They need more ammo to start the machine up.
8. This next Political Season, will be happy hunting, you get the *CWN Guarantee*.

it doesn't matter which way the wind blows, the republican party has giant holes in their sails and the water in the bilge is fetid and rising... pretty soon, you'll be DIW.

By the time '08 rolls around, democrats could put up Kucinich and still run the table.

Sorry bout that,

1. It will be funny to see just who gets the nomination, if they actually get their party together.
2. Better look down in Florida maineman, things have stalled.
3. This will upset the apple cart bud, you watch.
4. Sure we'll take Florida again,..Hehehehehehe,............
5. That's another key state, we are going to get it gifted to us.
6. Hehehehehehehe,.........

"looking" anywhere at this point is just mental masturbation. Who gives a damn? Your president is diving...his party is bailing on him in congress like rats leaving a sinking ship.... but there are no republican candidates who will be able to avoid being sucked down with him. Every single R running has had his picture taken with Dubya.... and I can guarantee that whoever gets the nod will see that picture over and over and over again. YOu guys could nominate Jesus and he'd lose in 08, for no other reason than the Iraq war... and the incredible incompetence with which it has been waged. The country knows that your party has driven us into a ditch. They will take the car keys away and give them to whatever democrat is running. We will need to deliver in 09-12, or or stay in the white house will be short lived, but there is no way in hell your party can win in 08.

Sorry bout that,

1. No way eh?
2. From the likes of Hillary and Obama eh?
3. Your really feeling that lucky eh?
4. You'd better take a closer look at these two.
5. Both have a hell of a lot of baggage they are wagging around.
6. And one has far more than the other.
7. Who ever gets the nod in the Republican Party, will look far better than any Neolib.
8. I find it hilarious how you think this Nation is against the war, only about half of the voting population has eaten the *War Is Lost* propaganda.
9. We will keep winning the *White House*, the Neoliberals won't protect this Nation!
10. That's where we gotcha!

Sorry Chess, but your rep candidates have an awful lot of baggage themselves.

As for Florida you can have that place!
These are troubled times for the USA. People have to much information to cope with and not enough intelligence to comprehend. Then we have the obfiscaters of the republican set that want to confuse things more and inject fear.
As Americans turn more whimpy with conservative ideas they lack basic skills of survival. With these parameters in place this next election will set the tone for failure or future for America.
I believe we will pick failure instead of future. FEAR trumps logic!

Chess......you're really flying on a wing and a prayer here. Anything that anyone had on Hillary is already out there and Obama hasn't been around long enough to get that much dirt on him.

7. Who ever gets the nod in the Republican Party, will look far better than any Neolib.

Hope springs eternal.........when a poll showed that none of the above was the Republican's first choice and Obama was their second. I know you're holding out for Thompson, but a third marriage to someone that could be his daughters age isn't going to fly among the Religious right......and speaking of dirt, that you seem so happy to fling........ no one has even started digging up dirt on him.

Um......yep.......cuz we've seen what the Republicans can do. I see Bush sitting in Texas, when he should be standing next to every Republican that is running for President. This should be his "busy" time......campaigning.

Sorry bout that,

Chess, you don't even know what a neoliberal is, do you?

1. It means what ( I ) , *The Great CWN*, says it means.
2. I reassigned its meaning.
3. When you are me, you can do that.

Regards,
SirJamesofTexas[hr]Sorry bout that,

1. But lily sweetie, we got dirt we haven't flung yet on all the Neolibs running this time.
2. We don't want to throw it to early.
3. Got to see how it shakes out first who gets the nod, and who gets seat number two.
3.a) I know I start flinging dirt early, but that's why I get the big bucks.
4. Fred is a strong leader type, I think he can handle personal attacks, what does the Neolibs have on him politically?
5. Not much, he did work for *Nixon*, which is about all I am aware of.
6. Which means he is deeply rooted into the *Party*.
7. I think that, *President Bush* is waiting for a clear cut candidate to come forth before he throws his support towards anyone.

Agreed. And with the Bush White House falling apart I don't think ANY Republican candidate wants Bush, Cheney or who ever's left to be around them. :lmao:

Where's the Republicans embracing Bush? There is no spin, only the truth.

That's what "writes itself" :clapper:

exactly. how many republican presidential candidates do you see rushing to stand by dubya's side at a photo op? He is an abysmally unpopular president and his skunk stench will permeate the republican field... they can run, but they cannot hide!

Hmmm........that must mean that all the Republican candidates are sworn to secrecy............because they sure aren't mentioning him in their campaigns or in the debates.:lmao:

Chess, you don't even know what a neoliberal is, do you?

1. It means what ( I ) , *The Great CWN*, says it means.
2. I reassigned its meaning.
3. When you are me, you can do that.
Heh. That's the one thing I liked about Chess. He could be funny.

But Neoliberal actually HAS a real meaning.

It means the globalizers, the elite financiers and the politicians who support them.

http://globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=7973

Also known as the Washington Consensus. http://www.iie.com/publications/papers/paper.cfm?researchid=351

And as dumb as Chess was, he was actually right. Neoliberalism is ruining the world. It's reducing the standard of living for the North (developed countries) to that of the South (the LDCs)

And lots of poorly informed "conservatives" and "liberals" support it, not understanding that they are cutting their own throats.

Ironic, but irony rates a scornful laff from me.

The idiots have it coming for supporting it. Unfortunately, I get taken down too, with the sinking living standard.

CWN was the best thing about this board, you could gurantee that you'd be in stitches every time you came on this site when he was still here. I want him back, none can compare to the great *CWN*!

I'm new to this site so please bear with me if I don't know you or the past posts, information, etc.

Thank you Patrick Henry for that link to the article on neoliberalism. I've been trying to understand what it meant and where the term came from. That was the best, fullest, explanation I've read.

It's too bad that the author, even though he explained the dangers of it, he couldn't really come up with a solution to the problems being promulgated by it.

PatrickHenry
02-04-2008, 05:33 PM
Zahalsky, it is a problem being thrust upon the weak by the powerful...

Difficult to combat such problems without a widespread understanding of it.

Education is the key.

Point others the way to educating themelves.

Self-education is the only method that actually has any effect.
