Here is a very interesting video compilation showing Fox doing exactly as they did in the run up to war in Iraq. Same scaremongering, same lies, same [insert country name here] is supporting [Al Qaeda/Taliban/terrorism] and building weapons of mass destruction (Also non existent as last time) right under the noses of weapons inspectors etc........

In that case his punishment stands. I assume he was an unmarried man and had illicit sex? The Shariah law punishment for that is 100 lashes.
My brother in law was given exactly the same punishment a couple of years ago.

Actually they just parrot similar stuff as reported by AP, Reuters etc... The difference is, they don't then extend the coverage for several hours by getting opinionated politicians and other assorted miscreants screaming "Lets bomb Iran".
Actually, the biggest extension of normal coverage on French TV I've seen was a particularly observant French journalist who did his job and noticed the "Iranian supplied" weapons cache "found" in Iraq was covered in English writing and the shells had Gregorian rather than Islamic dates of manufacture.

You would think FOX "journalists" would actually live up to their names and do some actual investigation into some of the administration claims against Iran instead of just accepting it blindly, but I guess that would come under "aiding and supporting the enemy"?

I think you confused it with the 80 lashes for those who bear false witness. They are then branded as liars for life.

I don't defend the Iranian government except when they are in the right which they are in developing Nuclear Power which is their right as a sovereign nation and a signatory to the NPT that forbids them from going as far as building nuclear weapons.
