Below is the latest e-mail from the Sovereign Life freedom newsletter (http://www.sovereignlife.com/?ref=08406182), which comes out about once per week. The author, Dave McGregor, is a UK citizen, but is very into Ron Paul. So are many other Europeans, if the responses on this and other forums is to be believed.

Dear Andrew
Those who know me know I don't vote. I stopped voting in 1998
when I realised my voting was useless.
Why? Because all it got me was more of the same - more taxes,
more bureaucracy, more regulation, more snooping, more sleazy
politicians.
Is there any situation where I might vote?
I would have said "no" a couple of months back - but now I've
found ONE exception.
If I was US citizen, I would vote for Ron Paul - as presidential
candidate for 2008.
Why vote if it's useless? Because I believe Ron Paul represents
a unique opportunity to seize history by the throat. He is
indeed a rare breed - a politician with integrity, who votes
according to a clear set of principles. And he has a voting
record to prove it.
Americans have an historic opportunity from now until
presidential voting day - and that's to show the world they
are indeed a country that VALUES liberty.
If a people get the government they deserve (which I believe
they do), then Americans have got perhaps just ONE chance to
prove they deserve freedom, peace and prosperity.
All Americans needs to be exposed to Ron Paul's message. They
need to make that choice - freedom or slavery.
There is no excuse. The internet is awash with information.
No one can claim they don't have a choice.
Ron Paul offers the US voter a REAL choice. An alternative to
the corrupt political hacks who infest the body politic (and
particularly those others seeking the office of president),
and provides a refreshing and truly revolutionary option -
the option of turning back the police state and restoring
the American Republic.
America grew great because of its founding principles. It
is losing its way because it's ignoring those principles.
Ron Paul is a clarion call - a call that can re-ignite the
original American Revolution.
One of the current batch of presidential candidates had this
to say about freedom:
"Freedom is about the willingness of every single human being
to cede to lawful authority a great deal of discretion about
what you do."
Do you know who said that? It was Rudy Giuliani - in a speech
he gave entitled "Freedom is About Authority", in 1994.
And this piece of totalitarian scum wants to be the next
US president? Adolf Hitler, Josef Stalin or Mao Zedong
could not have said it better.
If America votes for him, then I'm afraid I'm going to have
to wash my hands of the US public, and consider them a lost
cause.
But they don't have to. They can vote for liberty and vote
for Ron Paul.
I don't know whether he can make it. I don't know whether he
can overturn the elite despots running the show from behind
the scenes. But I do know that if the effort is NOT made, then
the game's up, and you may as well turn off the lights and
say "goodbye America".
Do yourself a favour. Watch this short YouTube video outlining
what Ron Paul stands for. And if he stands for what YOU believe
then make sure you pass the video link on to at least 10 other
people you know.
More than 7,000 people are receiving this newsletter. I'm
assuming they are all freedom lovers. Now's your chance to
do something really easy - and possibly history-changing.
7,000 times 10 is 70,000. If 70,000 people get exposed to
this video NOW - then it can add to the groundswell of
changing opinion.
