Well is it a good thing or a bad thing?

Considering they are using basically Prince Burnhards troops, and Prince Burnhard was a nazi...its probably not so good.

I think it is a very bad thing, and as you may recall, completely unconstitutional. That being said, I don't think we'll ever see such a thing happening. If it did, the line will have been crossed, and I would prepare myself for a second civil war. No joke.

Any effort to take Americans' guns or suspend the constitution by force would be met by retaliation. It would cause civil war. I don't believe anyone would have the nerve to try it. There are militia groups that are VERY heavily armed, and they would be joined quickly by tens of thousands of people not willing to relenquish their arms, their rights, or their freedom, and who would die rather than relenquish their arms or their rights, myself included. I personally know several individuals who each own over a hundred rifles, pistols, shotguns, and yes, assault rifles. I am also sure that this is true all over the country, especially in the south. We love our guns. As Charlton Heston said, "Out of my cold, dead hand". Amen.

So you don't think the Elites who don't work understand that? So you don't think measures have been made to counter that?

We are not America 1945...we are America 2006...and much has changed...by design.

When force comes, it will not ask it will take. Many glassy eyes will come before us, and it will only cost us our lives and theirs to play.

But the masters of it, will sit safe in their castles, while we fight with our brothers and sisters who do not understand...but what to "help"

I see our favorite conspiracy theorist is at it again.

1. I seriously doubt the US Army is secretly training foreign troops to disarm US citizens.

2. I know that our military would not stand by while a foreign military force attempted to disarm US citizens.

3. Our career military, probably more than other citizens of the US, know exactly why the Second Amendment was added to the Constitution -- so that the citizens could band together as a militia in time of need instead of relying on Federal forces for protection. In addition, an armed citizenry tends to make anyone with thoughts of taking over the government and scrapping the Constitution very nervous.

4. If Robodoon has any actual proof of our government and military covertly training foreign soldiers for the sole purpose of disarming the US populace, I suggest he take the proof to Fox news instead of using this forum to plug his own site. Very tacky, that.

2.Â*Â*I know that our military would not stand by while a foreign military force attempted to disarm US citizens.

Of couase not, thats why they seperate them. And in that video, there is US troops, local police and foreign ROYAL GUARD..doing it "together" isn't that just warm and fuzzy.

3.Â*Â*Our career military, probably more than other citizens of the US, know exactly why the Second Amendment was added to the Constitution -- so that the citizens could band together as a militia in time of need instead of relying on Federal forces for protection.Â*Â*In addition, an armed citizenry tends to make anyone with thoughts of taking over the government and scrapping the Constitution very nervous. You don't think they understand this simple matter? What happens when the enemy is making the calls? Would that not be a goal for some?

This is paranoid hysteria. As for the tapes.. the US is often part of multi-national forces and it only makes sense that we work and train with other nations for warfare or peacekeeping duties.

The militias are jokes really. If the US govt, or US military, ever wanted to impose martial law or suspend the constitution, they have overwhelming military and technilogical superiority. No doubt there would be rioting, but it would not last long.

Militias often look to Waco as an example of how they could hold off the govt. In a real national emergency, one missile from an Army helicopter would have taken out the entire compound.

This is paranoid hysteria. I didn't say I BELONGED to a militia, I said I would JOIN one. It's neither here nor there, because no one will have the cajones to take away American's right to bear arms. But I do believe militias would be quite effective, it seems to be working for the insurgents in Iraq. Gorilla warfare is very effective against a large, well armed force (Revolutionary war, anyone?). And if we can't wage full scale warfare in Iraq, what makes you think they'll do it here?

You'd have a huge chasm of defecting military units and personnel if they were ordered to disarm citizens.

Not only that you'd certainly have governors refuse to nationalize their guard units and they wield considerable military firepower. Pennsylvania, for example, fields the entire 28th Mechanized Infantry Division.

The U.S. army strength is rated at 778,000. 446,000 of those are NG or Reserve personnel. Link (http://www.cbo.gov/showdoc.cfm?index=301&sequence=2)

You can't count on 60% of a civllian army in daily civillian jobs turning on their communities.

Both are Blue states.
